I volunteer at a non-profit for women,children and need donations,clothing hygiene’s etc. need help!!?
I am looking for any businesses or private places that would like to donate to this program. There are children along with there mother’s trying to change there lives and re-enter into society as productive members. I am always looking for resources to help them. The women stay at this program 12-15mo. During this time they attend many helpful workshops that will better them. They also attend and eight week vocational class before they start looking for a job. The goal is for them not to just take any job but, to hopefully find a career.
My hope is to find anyone that may be willing to donate interview clothes,kids clothes,personal items and anything that might help.

Some suggestions I have are, write a letter to some retail businesses with a letter head from your program asking for donations.
I use to work for Walgreens pharmacy, they donate to adult centers giving personal hygene products.
Go to your dollar stores.
They have been very helpful in donating hygene products.
Many retail stores will donate items.
It helps to contact your local high school’s cheerleading squad asking if they can promote a “Mothers and Child’s Day” asking if each student in the school can bring at least two items for your program.
My neice has done this for the battered women’s shelter, and was shocked at how the kids in school got involved.
They also set up huge boxes at a home game and many people partacipated in dropping off items coming through the gates.
