Does anyone know if there are AA meetings for the children of Alcoholics (the kids not being alcoholics)?
For example, if a teenager or young adult had a parent who was an alcoholic but was not an alcoholic themselves – are there AA sponsored meetings for them? If not – are there any other meetings that are similiar?
(particularly in the Los Angeles area)
Absolutely. It’s called ALONON. It’s for anyone who has suffered from or had their lives affected by a drinker/drug user. There is an AA place in Culver City/ Mar Vista, on Washington Blvd. They would know where the meetings would be. The internet would also tell you. Just type in ALONON; Los Angeles and see what pops up. Best of luck
