HELP! Need to find Childrens book: Danger in the Everglades by Frederick W. Keith (1957) its out of print?
Publisher no longer around but was aberlard-schuman and came from New York. The OCLC number is 1420226. Mother’s favorite childhood book. She talks about it all the time but unable to find it anywhere except maybe a library or two. Please if you know where a copy is please let me know as soon as possible, will PAY a good bith for copy of this children’s book. thanks and hopefully we can pull it out. I have been looking for over a year HELP!
This could be very tough. I just tried alibris.com and half.com, which you’ve probably already tried. I even checked Books in Print (and checked “out of print,” of course) but it didn’t come up there, either.
If I can think of anything else to try, I’ll come back here and post it.
Meanwhile, I’d suggest you put it on a half.com wish list and also have ebay search for it every day for you. You never know; someone might clean out a basement or attic and put a copy up for sale.
